Hank Williams would have turned 89 today. Most don’t realize the impact Williams had on popular music in his brief life before an untimely death. As a child, my grandma used to sing me Hank Williams on her lap.

Lastly, Australian psych-rockers Tame Impala have a single out off their upcoming release, Lonerism. The track is titled Elephant and is heavily bathed in some sun-soaked, 60’s psychedelia. Lonerism is scheduled for release on October 5, 2012.
